Mr. Kent Lin Lectured on the Regulations on the Appropriation of Houses on State-owned Land and Compensation

On December 13, 2011, Mr. Kent Lin, partner of Schinders Law, held an internal lecture on the Regulations on the Appropriation of Houses on State-owned Land and Compensation. Mr. Lin introduced some key theories on the topic and analyzed some typical cases based on the national conditions and present development status of China. The main points in the lecture are as follows:  

 

1.  The background of social and economic development at the present stage of appropriation of land for public    domain in China;

 

2.  The evolution process of the regulations on the expropriation of houses on state-owned land;

 

3.  The interpretation of the Regulations on the Expropriation of Houses on State-owned Land and Compensation;

 

4.  Some issues in the expropriation of houses on state-owned land; and

 

5.  Problems of the confiscation rural collective land use rights.

 

 

In the end, Mr. Lin answered the participants’ questions and shared his ideas with others.
